DeMarvion Overshown, the Cowboys Secret Weapon…

One player I was most excited to see in 2023 was Cowboys 3rd round pick DeMarvion Overshown.

Coming into the league, Overshown was new to the linebacker position after switching from safety, but he still showed flashes of his quick processing, great coverage ability, and elite closing speed on ball carriers.

But after he tore his ACL in the preseason, he didn’t get to make an impact in the regular season, and a lot of people outside of Cowboys fans have either forgotten about Overshown or don’t know him.

After such a lackluster year from the linebacker room in 2023. Overshown could be the Cowboys secret to really unlocking this defense in 2024 under Mike Zimmer…
